Welcome to the consultation website for Royal London Asset Management’s renovation proposals for the office building at One St John’s Lane.

The proposals seek to revitalise a tired and outdated office building through a sensitive retrofit and extension. Rather than simply replacing the building, the project looks to reuse key parts of the existing structure while delivering a more sustainable, accessible and attractive building that responds better to Clerkenwell’s historic character.

Our plans include:

  • Replacing the old façade with an energy-efficient external envelope to create a building more in-keeping with the historic character of the local area

  • Improving accessibility into the building and connectivity around the building

  • Enhancing and increasing the existing office accommodation 

  • Introducing sustainability measures that will improve the building’s green credentials by pursuing BREEAM sustainable certification.
